About Us
PARKVILLE ANIMAL HOSPITAL first opened on March 15, 1985 and originally occupied one store (formerly a pizza parlor) in the middle of a small strip shopping center at 8600 Harford Road in Parkville. As business grew, we expanded to an adjoining storefront in 1988 and a third storefront in 1995. The expansions allowed room for additional examination rooms, a larger surgical suite, a dental suite, well-pet boarding runs, and an ultrasound/telemedicine room.
Parkville Animal Hospital is owned by Duane S. Mangini V.M.D. and is a Maryland corporation (Duane S. Mangini V.M.D., P.A.). It has purposely remained small (one or two veterinarians maximum) to preserve the intimacy and exceptional veterinarian - client communications that only a small business can provide, without sacrificing quality of care.

Our goal is to improve the lives of both our clients and patients by producing exceptional veterinary care and pain relief for dogs and cats in a gentle, caring, timely, and professional manner.
